Comments

Historical context:

The Bank of Norway in Oslo begun preparing for exchange notes already in 1943. Like their counterpart in London, these notes were to replace the current notes in circulation. They were designed in total secrecy, since the board of the bank was full Nazis and their collaborators.

Due to the secrecy, the notes isn't that artistic and secure, when they couldn't outsource design or printing tecknics to other artists and banks. The notes were also just ment as a temporary series, untill the 4th version of the Krone banknotes could be made.
