This token is struck by Pichard Balme in Saumur, a subsidiary of Arthus Bertrand since its takeover in 1999.
The images projected on nine screens came from British, Canadian, German, American and French archives.
On both sides of the sea, people were preparing for this long-awaited clash. Then, on the morning of June 6, 44, the long-awaited first step towards the liberation of Western Europe took place. From the landings on the 5 beaches of La Manche and Calvados to the tragic bombing of Le Havre on September 12, the Battle of Normandy lasted 100 days. Experience 20 minutes of pure historical intensity!
