Founded in 1922 to operate paving stone and macadam quarries, the quarries were located in Fouday, Lutzelhouse, Schwarzbach and Wisches in the Lower Rhine, and in Gueberschwihr, Hattstatt and Voegtlinshoffen in the Upper Rhine.
The company was dissolved on November 22, 1955.
The tokens were used between 1923 and 1929 and are rare.
Identical 5 ct and 10 ct tokens also exist.
