Description

Obverse: Full-length standing figure of Lord Venkateswara (a manifestation of Vishnu), depicted in a stylized, high-relief form. The deity wears a tall, flared crown (Kirita) and heavy royal garments. He holds the Sudarshana Chakra (spinning disc) in his left hand, visible as a distinct circular symbol. The silhouette is sharp and well-centered, characterized by a powerful, geometric stance.

Reverse: A convex (domed) and finely granulated field. The surface is entirely covered in a uniform grid of tiny raised dots, known as the "Porto Novo" pattern. This specific early issue lacks later mint marks (such as the "Lazy J"), typical of the initial VOC issues at Negapatnam designed to mimic local currency.
