Comments
The Royal Netherlands Mint (Koninklijke Nederlandse Munt) occasionally releases a coloured 10 cent coin called "Oranje Geluksdubbeltje". There has been one in 2012 with Queen Beatrix obverse, and two more in 2014 & 2016 with King Willem-Alexander obverse.
The rough translation of "Oranje Geluksdubbeltje" to English means "Lucky Orange Dime".
The Dutch meaning of Dubbeltje is "Double small coin" A small coin is 5 cents, hence 10 cents or Dime.
The 2012 Coin was for luck to the Dutch Football Team in the UEFA Nations Cup.
The 2014 Coin was for luck to the Dutch Olympic Team at the Sochi Winter Olympic Games and for the Dutch Football Team in the World Cup Soccer.
The 2016 Coin was for luck to the Dutch Olympic Team at the Rio Summer Olympic Games.
