Eagle in profile, with outstretched wings and head left has fasces with axe in the claws. The eagle is encircled by a laurel wreath made by two branches. Where the branches meet together is present the Shield of Savoy that divides the value below. The date is on the left of the value, while and the mint mark and the year in Fascist Era are right.

Coins in pure acmonital are magnetic and more brilliant and darker that coins km# 76a, that have also a part of Nickel.
Even if the date 1942 have a high mintage, many coins were melted so are rare to find.
