Translation:
(Center): Muhammad is the messenger of Allah’ in Arabic
(Around): In the name of Allah. This fals was struck in the Jazira
Coin minted circa 143AH at al-Jazira in the name of al-Abbas b. Muhammad who was a regional governor. Album writes “One issue only, in the name of al-‘Abbas b. Muhammad, one of the most common early Islamic copper coins, always undated”.
