A coin, a banknote or a piece of exonumia is missing in the Numista catalogue: what can I do?

Last update: 25 July 2023

If you can't find a coin, a banknote or a piece of exonumia in the Numista catalogue, first try to search with less strict criteria. This will allow to find it even if it was registered in the catalogue with incomplete data. If the item is confirmed as missing, click on the link “Add it yourself!” at the bottom of the search results.

If not done yet, you'll need to sign in or create a Numista account.

You may also use these direct links depending on the type of item:

Alternatively, you can open the page describing a similar type and click “Duplicate this page” at the bottom.

Fill the form with as much information as you can, following the guidelines for editing the catalogue.

After you submit the form, a Numista referee will verify the information you provided. In the meantime, the newly created page is visible only for you. Once the referee approves the new page, it becomes visible publicly in the Numista catalogue. Referees may also return the form and request further information or edits if the request is incomplete or does not follow the guidelines.
