Only three examples are known, two in the Monnaie de Paris collection and one in the Gadoury collection. A 3-centime coin is kept at the Monnaie de Paris, but it is not known whether this is a trial or a current mintage, nor what quantity was struck. There are no official records of this coin. It is one of the rarest of modern French coins.
