Good question!

1. Portugal hammered coins (so before the mechanical devices were introduced in the 1600s)
2. Portugal mechanical coins (mostly monarchy and pre-euro republic, barely go out of my way to get euro coins)
3. Iberian coins (all the way from the greeks and romans in the peninsula up to medieval and early modern Spanish/Spanish states coins, now getting a lot into hispano-islamic coins!)
4. Italian and Italian states
5. Any others that tickle my fancy, examples include a mini series on UK monarchs on coins (what a big empire right), random medieval European coins, some small random type sets I want to complete, etc.

This reminds me I should redo my subcollections here on Numista!
