Maybe until the funeral the Numista homepage could highlight only Coins/Banknotes/Exonumia at Random featuring Elizabeth II only, similar to what was done in solidarity with the Ukraine earlier?
I really don't want to offend anyone. But she was just a nice old lady who did well her job and enjoyed some privileges by being born in a certain family. No comparison for me to rising awareness and showing solidarity with a country that was raid and people being killed. Just my two Pence. (This saying fits quite well here 😅).

I completely understand the idea behind this, but numista is an international website. Every year some monarch, president or other head of state dies and nothing similar to this happens. In my opinion it would be a bit „unfair“ to all the other countries if something similar to this would be done.
Considering she was the head of state for 70 years, I don't really see a reason for it. There are trillions of coins and banknotes with hear smiling head on, so I see no need for an extra highlight.
Except for one exceptional case in the past, which rsirian1 mentioned, the homepage only shows random items from the catalogue. It is not intended to commemorate special events.
