Is this coin legit? Republic of China Ten Cash

Hi, I recently got a bunch of old coins and just came here to find out more about a few coins I'm not sure about. This one says “Republic of China” “Ten Cash” and looks like a pretty rare N#242469 The diameter is correct. However it weighs a bit under 6 grams (my scale isn't very accurate), its thickness is only a bit over 1mm, and it seems to have a gold tone layer(plating?) that has worn off in some places. Is it legit? Does it have any value? Thanks.

Please tell me what you think. Also, should I add it to my collection?

there are several for sale on e-bay. they all look well worn in various ways, like yours is.

I'm sure it is fine. brass does all sorts of things with age and abuse,

and people do all sorts of things to coins including polishing, or even electroplating.
