Ukraine 1,050,000 Karbovantsiv Seals/Stamps [solved]

7 posts • viewed 105 times

I’ve been holding on to a couple of these notes and trying to collect more with different seals. I’m curious if someone who speaks Ukrainian or who used this note would be able to decipher the different seal purposes. I’m also curious if each seal type would warrant a different variant of the note. I am aware that these were hand-issued for lack of a better term. If anyone who has this note with a different seal than the ones pictured below, please do post a photo.

First seal:

State specialized commercial savings bank of Ukraine.

Affiliate № [unreadable, but must be 3009] of Kamianka-Dniprovska branch of Oschadbank in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

For

operations

3009/023

Second Seal:

State specialized commercial savings bank of Ukraine.

Affiliate №3181/09 of Zinkiv branch of Oschadbank in Poltava Oblast

These are the seals of specific Oschadbank (state savings bank) affiliates.

Thank you!

Does anyone else think that it would be helpful to list each seal individually either in the comments or as variants?

Oh no! There is no need for this.

Although it will be difficult to find out how many affiliates (offices) Oschadbank had in the 1990s throughout the country, but it would be approximately several thousand. Each office had its own seal (maybe more than one, because I assume that the number “1” on the first seal may be an ordinal number), so you'll need a thousands of variants!

Same story with the ukrainian Consumer's cards from 1990-1992, which could have thousands different variants of enterprise seals on them. Although it is interesting to collect different seals, I wouldn’t distinguish them into varieties.

Oh my! I hadn’t realised just how many seals existed! Thank you for all of your help! Слава Україні!

the pictures contain personal data (full name, passpost data, address) of two people. You need to remove them from the post or hide all the handwritten parts on the notes before posting here
