Hi, i ask help for some Morocco coins i have problems to identify correctly.

As usual any information is appreciated.

Thank in advance.

1) it seems a 2 falus, but the date is reversed 8811, mint not clear. W = 5,26 gr - D = 24,5 mm

2) W = 3,47 gr - D = 18,5 mm

3) I see a regnal year 34 that confuse me. W = 11,92 gr - D = 30 mm

4) W = 3,24 gr - D = 23 mm

Numbers 1 and 4 look like medallions with the tab cut off -

or is that how coins there were made in those days?

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins

I think this type was cast, so there could have been a tab or sprue to remove.

Yes, these types are cast and is not unsual to have a tab cut off

For #1, retrograde dates are known for other years:  https://en.numista.com/forum/topic140291.html  However, I could not find a listing for 2 falus 1188.

There are collectors on the French forum who know Moroccan coins well.  I will post a note over there asking them to take a look.

No one can give me some more informations from these coins? Thanks

1 Falus = 3.5g,

2 Falus = 7g,

3 Falus = 10.5g,

4 Falus = 14g

Other weights are counterfeits.

And … if a coins meets the weight but come in a lot of counterfeits, it's also a counterfeit 😜

Thank you, but let me doubt about the accuracy of the weights of this type of coins.

They are not a lot, and only the last one is an imitation for sure.
