Might be a chance its not from the period of Jahangir, hard to tell. Not much references

An Idea, an hint ?

Haven’t found any yet, really confusing one…

The righthand image appears to be upside down which doesn't help, added to that the weight is nowhere near for a ½ Dam of either Jahangir or Akbar

I added a new picture with the reverse face rotated

Referee of south atlantic islands

It appears to be Sultans of Gujarat, G446, Mahmud Shah III, AE Falus

Where is the date on the coin of Zeno ?

Referee of south atlantic islands

only 2 dates are listed for this type, 949 and 956 AH, other dates may have come to light since the catalogue was produced.

As is common on Gujarat coins the date can be in different places and also split up with parts fitted in where there is a space. On the zeno coin you can see a 9 and a 5, 6 is off the flan but the date can only be 956

Thank you
