To prevent errors, I suggest that it should not be possible for anyone to add an item which does not exist to their numista collection.
For example, having a listing for a fully redeemed banknote, that is no examples left outstanding, with members indicating that the note is in their collection, is disinformation which gives the impression that examples of the banknote do exist.
Here is one such listing. This note: Ulster Bank £100, 6.5.29
N#231286
is a fully redeemed series.
There are no examples extant according to the records of the Central Bank of Ireland. Yet, according to the numista listing someone claims to have one! It is probably an error. It would be a good thing to prevent such errors from occurring in the catalogue.
Thoughts, suggestions, opinions please people!
Specimens exist of the general Type with Bank of Ireland on them, but not of the Ulster Bank, so this error cannot be a specimen.
