Two 20 sen coins from 2017 Malaysia, on the left, with a normal stamp.... but on the right, the zero was only half struck... is this an error?

You mean the zero in the denomination?

 

Why do you say “half struck”?

First of all, I apologize for not being able to get a better photographic image... here are the photos of the same coin... what I meant to say was that only half of the zero suffered pressure during the stamping process, the other half had no impact, meaning it is not symmetrical!
