Hi, Just wondering if would it be possible to convert the numista # into some sort of readeble image, so it could be scanned by a phone and open the related numista page.
Could be interesting to print and put at holders, slabs, etc…
You can do that easily in both Chrome or Edge and a few other browsers although I'm not sure you could shrink them down to put on a flip. It would be nice if they were already on the coin page.
I would add to this that it would be nice for each object in a collection to have one. I'd love to be able to print out little stickers of the QR to put in a corner on the back of my flips.

Just keep in mind for the long term, that there is no guarantee that QR codes will stay the same or exists in the future or even that Numista will still be online.
But as long as QR-codes do exist, it would be nice to have a QR-code per page. Then not everyone has to make their own, but they can be used by anyone wanting to print them in catalogues, coinflips, coin exhibits even, …

No new swaps for the moment, still too many half-ongoing swaps to clean up!
There are several websites which will create a QR code for any submitted url and supply it a downloadable image for free which can be printed out. I tested this a couple of years ago for a display at a coin show.
The QR codes produced through two of these websites worked perfectly when printed out at 1 square cm and scanned by a phone through both glass and perspex.
Found a way to do it manually.. Added a extention to chrome. Open the coin page Open the edit page Click the extention to generate the qrcode. Drag the Qrcode to the Pictures or private PDF documents field. Example:

Works printed at 6x6mm.
In Chrome just right click on the page:
You can copy it or save it.
No need to add an extension from a third party to do it. Third time I've said this in this post.

Problem is, the chrome version only works if printed at 9x9mm or larger. I´m looking for something that can be printed at a smaller area.
I actually exported my collection from here and used MS excel 365 to generate the QR codes using a free api called api.qrserver.com, and from there resized the codes using image function to 30x30 pixel which produces around 9 mm x9mm for A4 paper.
I am thinking of buying A4 sticker paper to save time with the gluing part :D
