Error on 2 Euro Italy 2002 (Dante) – Missing star at 8 o'clock

"Hello everyone,
I found a 2 Euro coin from Italy, year 2002 (Dante Alighieri), with a potential minting error. The star at the 8 o'clock position is completely missing. I suspect it might be a 'grease filled die' or a 'weak strike'. Is this a known variety for this year and does it have any collector value?

Still not sure why mine has initials missing.  Interesting though that it's in the same part of the coin as mine (8 o'clock).
