Hi all,

I have an amulet medallion (from Thailand 1991) that's appearing in an auction. The material is described as Nawa metal. I couldn't find anything about metal alloys on Google, but I did find something under the term Nawa. The word originates from Sanskrit and means something like "new" or "novel." Can anyone help me identify it? Visually, the amulet looks like it might be copper with a yellowish tint, similar to brass, but leaning more towards copper. Thanks for your support.

Thomas
