I'll be in Stockholm for a couple of days on business.
Does anyone know any good old-fashioned coin shop, where I can upgrade my Scandinavian collection?
(I only know the one in the Royal Coin Cabinet on Gamlastan)
Thanks in advance.

Quote: DutchgalegoImreh, despite all those high prices the Scandinavian countries do have really wonderful coins.Too late, I am already in my second home: Istanbul. Guess what: I will look around for Swedish Rijksdaaler in the Bazaar, I bet I could get some for a reasonable price + some bahsis
Forget the high values and invest some bucks.

Quote: imrehoh, nothing in particular. World coins for me (unlike Austria-Hungary, the Ottomans and the Romans) are an undefined emotional hunting territory. I love to get some lovely pieces without the wish to complete a collection.Imreh,
As you know my son studies in the Hague, so hence we have made a wonderful Dutch swap (looking for the next round!) - and since I have closed a large Europe-wide business deal in Stockholm, I was looking to celebrate that with a Rijksadaaler and a Guiness.
I have only managed to get the Guiness

As for my lovely son, I think the only thing knows about coins, is that you can buy Heineken for them
