How's my coin photography?

5 posts
I was practicing my photography skills a bit: how do these pictures look? Got any advice?

1st one perfect, looking great.
2nd one little bit dark at bottom, but still looking awesome.
3rd one......  Light at bottom portion too high.
Let's Do A Swap To Know Each Other Culture.
Photographing coins is challenging. Different lighting for different coins. The LED lighting I have is on a snake so I can position it at different angles. I try not to use the camera flash, but then again sometimes it comes out better.

The best photo I took was on a silver proof. Got lucky that the black reflection of the camera actually made the image pop. It almost looks like black enamel on the coin but the original is all silver.

The first image of yours is the best.

That is a truly amazing picture of the 20 Franken!
There was another topic on coin photography here:

and more places that I have not seen before.

Maybe there are some good ideas there for all of us.

(I really think such related and useful forum topics should be joined as the topics are similar and there are good advices in them all)
