Vintage coins

I guess it is like asking about "yellow cheese" in France, but still:
Is there an accepted definition to differ between Vintage to Old coins?
Is there a recommendation for list of "classical" vintage coins that tell the story of famous coins?
I mean like the Maria Theresa Thaler for example?
I know it sounds too general question, but will appreciate any kind of help or guiding links.
Thanks - Uri
"Old" is non specific but vintage and antique have been legally defined for taxation purposes as being 50 and 100 year respectively.

Sadly the terms are used indiscriminately much like "rare" or more accurately "RARE!!!!! WOW!!!!".
Non illegitimis carborundum est.  Excellent advice for all coins.

Some of my coins just went Antique this year as they are now 1 century old, while some others are now Vintage  :P

My oldest coin so far is from 1774, so she just reached her 240th birthday, almost there for a quarter millennium.
