Russian old coin - legitimate?

9 posts
I am currently the high bidder on this auction... so my questions are: 1) Is this actually a legit coin? and 2) Is it actually worth what I'm paying for it? (So far I'm at a bid of $3 USD)

It's okay if I've made a huge mistake. Been making lots of those lately.  z)

According to the catalogues I'd say yours is worth around 10$
And the coin is not fake.

Well that's what the catalogue says, it can be cheaper or it can be priciest. :)

On the site ZacUK linked to, VF quality for this coin, in this year, is still worth 6 dollars... either way, it would be AMAZING to have a legitimate old Russian coin in my collection. This would BY FAR be the oldest coin I would own.  :D  :8D  :8D

Didn't win the auction... it ended up going to $7. Whoever bought it certainly got their money's worth!
