Russian old coin - legitimate?

I am currently the high bidder on this auction... so my questions are: 1) Is this actually a legit coin? and 2) Is it actually worth what I'm paying for it? (So far I'm at a bid of $3 USD)




It's okay if I've made a huge mistake. Been making lots of those lately.

According to the catalogues I'd say yours is worth around 10$
And the coin is not fake.

Well that's what the catalogue says, it can be cheaper or it can be priciest.

On the site ZacUK linked to, VF quality for this coin, in this year, is still worth 6 dollars... either way, it would be AMAZING to have a legitimate old Russian coin in my collection. This would BY FAR be the oldest coin I would own.

Didn't win the auction... it ended up going to $7. Whoever bought it certainly got their money's worth!
