Dutch 10ct 1948 mule: rarity and identification?

Here's one for Ole and Ina!

I just visited your site (https://sites.google.com/site/coinvarietiescollection/home/europe/netherlands) and was surprised to see that a mule existed of such a common coin as the Dutch 10ct 1948 (KM#177). It does seem to be quite a common mule, however.  I've got 18 spare ones of those, and after closely examining, I think 5 of them are mules (the ones on the bottom row in the picture).
Would you agree with my classification?

Is there any information that confirms the existence of a mule?

(for those who didn't look up the factsheet on the site mentioned: the difference is in the position of the frontmost pearl with respect to the letters "NG" and the distance between "..NA KO..")

Numista member 'cobra' has it illustrated on there, his site.

And I looked at your image and I agree those five are the other variety.  :)

Ina/Ole and cobra are doing a magnificent job!

But, shouldn't the mule have it's own KM-number then? Or at least a separate line on the KM#177 coin page?
I already added a note and extra line a few minutes ago. And yes I think it should have a separate KM number (under the Netherlands).

P.S. I looked just now, and have 7 of the 1948 coins; 4 are ordinary and 3 are mules. So they are fairly common (like your 5 from 18 confirms). :)

I looked up the one sitting in my collection, which was the regular variety. Together with ZacUK's 7: out of 26 coins, 8 are mules.

These statistics suggest that 25-30% of the coins are mules.

I picked my coins from circulation between 1970 and 2000, unaware of the variation. Collecting 'willemientjes', as they were called, from pocket change was a national hobby, even among non-numismaticists. Many-many Dutch families will have a jar hidden away with a handfull of these 1948 coins. It was assumed that they would be rare some day. Classic example of a self destroying prophecy.
Also interesting is the great amount of variations that you can find in the queen Juliana 1 cent coins. I have them all, so may someone be interested just let me know.

I would be interested in the 1 cent variations as I have quite a few still to sort through.

Let me know which ones you need and I'm sure that we can make a deal.

What I mean is I would be interested in knowing what the variations are as to see if I have any in the coins that I already have.

Start with the link to Ina/Ole's site, mentioned in the first post of this thread.

I did swap with her before and trust me "she is really okay". Pity that she doesn't swap through Numista.

Greetings from Holland, Tony
