Though I cannot identify the coin, I recognize much of the writing on the first side:
لا اله الا الله
محمد رسول الله
"There is no god but Allah"
"Muhammad is the messenger of Allah"
All this is certain so far. Then it may be that we have the name of the 4th caliph, Ali (علي). If so, it would be a Shi'ite coin. I can't read the rest.
On the other side, at the bottom, we may have the word مصر = Egypt. That would mean that Ali is wrong on the first side.

You are right about the Ali thing and wrong about the Egypt thing (it's not مصرbut نصر=victory).
I'm not orange and also in other things I'm not a Donald at all. DonChori like Don Felipe or Doña María, por favor.
Sometimes it is part of a name (like نصرالله) but it also possibly part of the legend, like on Ottoman coins of 19th/20th century. But I'm not very familiar with islamic coins before 1850-1900.

Thank you for your help ,
so country ?
date of the coin ? around 1800 before , after ?
do you a website for this coin i can ask for more informations ?
I doubt this is Ottoman since I would expect the sultan's title and name, and perhaps his tughra. On the reverse one expects ضرب في = "struck in" followed by the name of the city.
I'm sure some other Numista member can help with this.
I know this post is old but I only stumbled upon it this evening while looking at something else.
Its certainly Safavid and it's definitely minted in what's now referred to as Nakhichevan, often spelled as Nakhjawan or similar.
I'm 99% confident your coin is attributed to Sulayman I of the Safavid dynasty. Considering it's weight, I think its a Shahi and either Album # 2662 or 2668, it's hard to say as I can't completely see the date but I think I see some of it at the 3 hr on the second image. The mint name is exactly opposite (9 hr).
You can see other examples on Zeno. For smaller denominations, they can be harder to come by but there's actually a few on that link.
If you're still around and have the coin, I'd love to connect to see if we could work out a swap or something.
Either way, I hope you add it to the catalogue now that we know what it is!
