The engraver name Morlon . The letter N in the A in Francaise . A space in the N and almost full.

The N has more space on top in the A

And here the N almost touches both ends of the A


And here it is with 1947

So that 1941 1nd 1947, are there other years? Is this normal. What about the 2 and 5 Franc coins ? Do they have the same difference. Your thoughts please yours daryl

The word Morlon is bold and thin. is this just over die use. Or is it over sleepy old eyes?

I remember a topic made by a French member unsure this kind of variations should be relevant as due to the old way to create dies, aka. using punches inside the die. I'll send them this topic but I guess their reaction will remain the same.
