Coin sheet updates that all users are not aware of

Hi

I am often bitching over coin updates of older coins. I am inclined to go thru very meticulously on every change, that was done on any given coin in my possession - but no such information is available. I have recently seen some coins from Thailand (I guess), where I have added many coins to my collection - all from my doubles.

Is is possible to set up a warning system for all users of specific coin, where any data has been changed? Based on this information, users could double check their double coins, before giving them away, not knowing, that they swap a coin, which place is in the collection.

I know this would be hard nut to crack, but anyway, I hope Numistas can do something about it. Sorry if this topic has already been noted somewhere else.

This would be helpful. Whether I have a double or two different variations would be good to know, but I would be be even more interested in knowing when one of my coins is moved from one country to another.

Yes to Potts. There are Chinese coins that look exactly like yours and not real.

I believe that everyone should be able to see the modification history, just like referees can.
