today I finally got an " error-dated" pound 2011" Suez Canal"
Now, wen I have a good images, and a good chance to compare all details, Im agree with some experienced collectors, that it is wrong explanation.
It is not " error dated coin" , but its classic mule coin, where obverse made by 2015 " Suez" die, and reverse by 2011 " Tut mask reverse" die.
We entered wrong way because the reverse is more or less common for one pound coins.
I compared reverses of this coin and reverses of standard 1 pound 2011 ( Tut mask) , and its clearly visible - same dies.
So, it should be listed separately as mule coin, like some other mule coins in Egypt section.
And a year line should be deleted from "Suez" pound. "2011-2015" for this coin is wrong.
- I can add this coin separately if admin allow.Yours
