UK 1925 1/2 penny ?

Hello everyone,
Can anyone tell me how to tell the difference between KM#809 and KM#824  for the year 1925
Without looking at the picutures,

From what I remember, I think the main difference is the portrait size of George V and the lettering on the reverse.

These are the ME (Modified Effigy) coins.
The silver coins - threepence / sixpence / shilling / half crown had ME in 1926.
The penny ME was also in 1926. No ME for the farthing or florin though, I think -
I guess just in different, separate years - not two versions in one year.
There are three ways to tell which version it is >
  • 1 The initials BM on the base of the portrait are moved. Before modification they were B.M. in the middle, and after it was BM to the right (without full stops).
  • 2 The spacing between the letters and the colon is different. The normal has the colon in the middle i.e. GRA:BRITT whereas the ME has GRA: BRITT on it (with a space).
  • 3 The vertical gap between the two dots is closer on the standard (before modification) coin on the BRITT:OMN part, and they are further apart on the modified.

A member's website has a link that has (on a penny I think - but it applies to all) pictures on it ...
