Islamic states : (fractional) dirhams

4 posts
Hello,
I got this lot few days ago and I'm still trying to identify them. The seller said they came from Morocco.

They look very much the same : the numbers 1 to 5 seem very similar.
The number 6 seem badly struck/overstruck so I'm not sure about the orientation and if it can match with he other ones.
The one just under seems to be a bit different.
The little one on the bottom right is badly struck on one side and could be a fraction of the other coins.

Diameter of the last one : 14mm max
Weight of the last one : 0,56g

Diameter of the other ones : about 18mm
Weight : about 0,8g

First I thought it was mameluk but I didn't find them here (or I missed something) : http://numismatics.org/digitallibrary/ark:/53695/nnan55713
About the major group, It looks like a head on one side (I think I already saw something similar before, but I don't remember what it was) :

The best I can get of the other side is that (sorry about the writing, I'm not an Arabic speaker so some characters may look a bit weird) :

I tried, but it won't be easy... It looks like the word "ila" (الا = except/but) is all over the place. Yet I wasn't able to read clearly the usual phrase:

لا اله الا الله

= "there is not god but Allah"

Thanks ! I noticed this part was repeated but I couldn't figure out what it means.

I thought this lot will be easier to determine than the previous (and mostly non-identify) islamic coins I bought, but I was wrong.
