Non-magnetic steel?

I'd found the coin in:

The one taka coin is not magnetic in 1992-1993? So there are some types of steel. Is this mangalloy or ferretic?

Can't find it listed in Numista but according to this source the same design coin was also minted in silver in 1992 (see from 1:10-1:39)

Steel is not magnetic by definition. From the Wiki page on Stainless Steel: "Ferritic and martensitic stainless steels are magnetic. Annealed austenitic stainless steels are non-magnetic."

There are quite some steel coins which are not magnetic. Non-magnetic steel was already used in the Italian and Albanian coins of the late 1930-s. This might be a deliberate choice by mints, to give the impression that coins, as an object of value, are more than just 'round pieces of cheap iron'.

There is also this steel which has a certain amount of manganese in it, what rusts like ordinairy steel and looks
and feels like steel, but it is not atrackted by a magnet. I do not know if it is used to make coins.

See https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?mode=simplifie&p=1&l=bangladesh&r=1+taka+FAO&e=bangladesh&d=&ca=3&no=&i=&v=&m=&a=&t=&dg=&w=&u=&f=&g=&c=&tb=y&tc=y&tn=y&tp=y&tt=y&te=y&cat=y. The coin is minted but the referee of the Bangladesh coins will add the coin.
