Need help identifying this coin.

Recently found this coin in an old box of stuff. Any one have any ideas of what it is?

It was a spinner - notice the little broken off tabs on the left and right -
so when in the holder only by spinning it round quickly could the lettering
be seen - which is why each side only has partial letters.

Better pictures, in daylight, and without plastic over it would help, but ...



I quickly cleaned the images up a little. Yours has the broken off tabs on the left
and right, so is held at the side, unlike top and bottom in the previous picture.

​Wow, very clever. Never would have thought of that. I am now just seeing the little broken bits on the side. Any idea of how I can try to find out more about the origin? It seems like maybe it's just something someone had made?
