Numista added 22,336 new users in 2019, increasing the total member tally by 21.1%. (This year alone is more users than were here in the middle of 2012.)

In comparison, Numista added 19,947 new members in 2018, and 15,286 new members in 2017.

184 nations had at least one new member. 4,940 are American, 3,106 are French, 2,123 are Indian, 1,961 are British, 938 are Canadian, and 638 are Filipino.

Anguilla, British Indian Ocean Territory, Brunei, Cabo Verde, Congo, French Polynesia, Jamaica, Kiribati, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Liechtenstein, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Saint Lucia, St. Pierre & Miquelon, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Timor-Leste, Turkmenistan, and Vatican City each gained one new member.

The first user from Timor-Leste joined Numista in 2019.

Each of the top 30 nations on Numista grew by at least 15%. The Philippines grew the fastest (48%), and Russia grew the slowest (15.5%). The Philippines passed Brazil for 9th rank. France grew by 19.8% and the USA grew by 28.1%.

I would like to point out that the Philippines started 2019 at 13th rank, ended 2019 at 9th rank, and could easily make it to 7th rank before 2020 is over. Spain, Portugal, and Italy left the Top Ten, while Australia, South Africa, and the Philippines joined it.
