Hi,

I made a list of the mints of the Roman Provincial coins.

Only the most important ones, but still a few hundred, so I kept them in a separate file.

Any different formatting, let me know

Regards

Thanks, that's impressive :)
Yep... there's quite a few.

Some of these cities don't exist any longer. Just some ruins in the desert, maybe close to a town in Turkey. In these cases I haven't added a "modern-day" town. If it helps for the GPS locations, I can go through the list and add the nearby modern town?
They are all added.
Region names and modern country names are translated to French. I still need to translate the mint names and modern city names and to add the coordinates.

Many thanks, Xavier!
I can still help, if you let me know the format you need the coordinates in for example
That would be great! You can add 2 columns for the latitude and for the longitude, in decimal format
Ok, I just did all the ones with A to test.

In the process, I also updated the missing modern-day locations. Those with updates are in bold. They are formatted like this:

Apollonia, Illyricum (near modern-day Pojani, Albania)

hope it's okay like this.

It will take a while to update all the coordinates, I'll let you know when they are done.
Hi again,

All are now done with latitude + longitude decimal coordinates.

Also updated current locations in GREEN.

In RED, there are some duplicates:
1. Caesarea Anazarbus - same as Anazarbus (my mistake)

2. Carthage
3. Corcyra
4. Heraclea Pontica
5. Lugdunum
5. Nicomedia
6. Serdica
7. Thessalonica
8. Tripolis

2-8 I think come from a parallel thread with the Imperial mints, which I wasn't aware of in the beginning.
Hope this helps
best

All coordinates added and duplicates deleted, so time to close this.
