Hello, this came advertised as Indian Princely State. I can't understand anything on it even though it is a good condition. I don't know which side is up or down so forgive me.

Here's what I know about it:
Metal: Copper ?
Weight: 3.1 g
Diameter: 17.0-18.0 mm

Would like to id this one, thank you in advance...

Yes, copper massa from Sri Lanka, Raja Raja Chola, 985-1014 AD. This is also called an "octopus man" coin from the appearance of the flowing robes of the king.
