I collect mostly United States die varieties but I have been starting to search coins from other countries for these "errors". For most countries and issuers, there is no list or reference for die varieties. Because of that, coins with extreme doubling or repunching that may be appealing to some collectors can get overlooked or go completely undiscovered. This makes them very fun to find and document (for me at least).
The few I happen to come across I've posted photos of to my own website, in order to be the first to document them and to share knowledge of these varieties. I would like to do that, on a smaller scale, on the Numista catalog (if welcomed of course).
I wanted to get people's thoughts on me uploading images of some of these varieties to the comments section of their respective Numista catalog page.
Would you like to see me add 1 or 2 collage images of some of the varieties I find to the catalog page?
