I suppose, it's meant for the coins identified as of the mentioned type (link to coin, please?), but where the year can NOT be identified.....

It's a 1 year type, so even if the date isn't readable anymore there shouldn't be a "?" year line.

This piece mentioned KM#Pn7 - Pratt Mayans M#6 (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces89184.html) originally had 2 date/years of issue by mistake: 1854 which is wrong and 1855; The correct year is only 1855 (I couldn´t delete "1854" year and now show us as ?)

​Thank you very much for that info. Now we know where that ugly "?" year line comes from. A master referee can delete that year line and if not, one of the catalog administrators certainly can.
