I have a coin, banknote or piece of exonumia that can't be identified. How do I add it to my collection?

As described in the dedicated guide, adding a coin, banknote or piece of exonumia to your collection requires to find it in the Numista catalogue.

 

If the item is missing in the Numista catalogue, you can request to add it to the catalogue.

 

If your item can't be found in the catalogue because you could not identify it, you may:

• Ask for some help in the forum section “Coin identifications and valuations”, “Banknote identifications and valuations” or “Exonumia identifications and valuations”.
• As a workaround, you may register it in your collection on the special page Unidentified or unknown coin, Unidentified or unknown banknote or Unidentified or unknown piece of exonumia.
