Am trying to find good home some coinsAm using Motorola g6 phone to take photos but NOT able to.
Member r sirian1 gave me appreciated advice but last times I try upload photos just seems impossible.
Any help I would appreciate.
Edit- taking minutes to upload photo obverse and get message error.

I had this issue a couple of times normally when I add photos of a coin or note to the catalog.
My IPhone takes JPG photos then I normally sent them to my computer (MacBook) to edit them through a free third party website but the website always saves them as a png format so I search for a png to JPG converter and I recommend that you use online-convert.com and it’s free then after converting them I upload them to Numista.
Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.
Once you download photos on your Mac, open the photo.
It opens in Preview.
There you will see a toolbox icon.
Click on it and to the left you will see a blue border square.
Click on that to see modes of selection - rectangular, elliptical, lasso - use that to crop picture.
Then in File - click on export.
Save as .jpeg.
Then load on to Numista.
I don't use any external programmes to edit.

Your right about the photos being in a JPG format but the 1MB limit is just for your profile picture because I had that issue when I uploaded my profile picture.

No. Profile pictures are limited to 100px X 100px and 30kB (.03 MB).
manny57 was trying to upload photos to this forum. I don't know if there is a size limit but I've uploaded photos larger than 6 MB. Also, uploads of .png and .jpg are allowed. I suspect his issue was with his phone not limitations of Numista.

Will try practice see if can get it working.
Seems files too big as takes quiet awhile, 4 minutes +-to load up 1 picture and second picture sent just goes to error.
Tomorrow is my off day,👍 so will have more patience.
Once more am grateful all info and apply new knowledge tomorrow.

Don't forget to crop the pictures (you can even do it on the phone) with this you can reduce the file size and we are not interested in floors or desks etc. anyway.
