Hello,

I would like to propose the catalogue contributions listed in the user profile to be expanded:

- split them between coin / banknotes / exonumia

- add stats on past auction contributions (are these counted in edits now?)

I also think the split between “years edited” and “pages edited” is not necessary.

Maybe something like this:

Coin contributions                742 types added, 365 varieties added, 600 auction lots logged, 262 edits

Banknote contributions     742 types added, 1 365 varieties added, 600 auction lots logged, 262 edits

Exonumia contributions    742 types added, 1 365 varieties added, 600 auction lots logged, 262 edits

Thank you

Totally agree!

I asked without success the auctions count in the past, hope you'll be more successful 😀

I added the number of added auction records to the user profile and I merged the numbers of “years edited” and “pages edited”.

I'm not fully convinced that splitting by category (coin / banknote / exonumia) would be really useful, and I fear that having too many numbers would actually make them more difficult to grasp.

Congratulations to Some_Nerd, who contributed the most auction records so far (after the Numista Robot)!

How does the robot to add auctions?

We currently do not know. Its influence is spreading…

Catalogue administrator

Numista receives files from Heritage Auctions and Katz Auction with information about their completed sales.

The Robot tries to match the sales to the Numista coin types (about 25% success rate for Heritage lots and near 100% for Katz, who use the N# number) and adds the lots to the pages, either on the specific year lines or as undetermined.

I added the number of added auction records to the user profile and I merged the numbers of “years edited” and “pages edited”.

Thank you!
