With this wonderful song, I am saying you goodbye to Numista Forum.
No, I am not leaving Numista, but I will leave the forum, and will focus my correspondance, chatting with trustworthy people on our newly created facebook site.
Mark Elliott (Zuckerberg, the creator of facebook, he is) will not ban me for stating my opinion against unethical criminals who delete the work of others, my posts will not be deleted if I warn others of another criminal who swaps fake Roman coins from Romania, and generally we look for a liberal, free-speech life there.
I personally find the non-existent management of this place corrupt and non-responsible.
I have already told that zillion times, but till last month, I always had some of the people I trusted with a slight bit of hope that he/she can take over and change things.
Currently I have no hope.
These people have evaporated due to lack of competence or lack of ethics.
I do not think any of the closed circle of individuals around Xavier (Edit. Faële : the name of Xavier can't be mentioned on the forum) will make any changes to this site for good, so I am gone to facebook. (Happily with quite a lot of lovely people)
Find us there if you are a trustworthy numismatist, and we take it from there,
I still try to change your mind because I think people asking questions in this forum will lose much if you are not here to answer.
Often you know the answers to questions so please do take a look and post sometimes.

Just saying :-)
Thanks, Kart, I will, if needed, provided these are questions of individuals.
But I will refuse do anything to improve or develop this site, as 2 years of experience tells me that this place is in corrupt, incompetent hands, who exploit the community, while they play the authority game with maffia methodologies.
Do you only read this ?
And specialy that : "To respect the privacy of everyone, it is forbidden to disclose the address of individuals, or the name of another member on the forum."

isn't Xavier his nickname? But an other question, when I request to speak to someone, but can't send a message (some people had those problems) I still not am allowed to post a post on the forum with their names to use so I can contact them?

You know Jedsada you are right. We dont know what is what, thats the problem. Its not normal to just walk away from something, and not say something. To start plans with people ,and leave them just out there. Iam starting to think,if its not an health issus or faimly issus. The site lost its apeal, its gotten to big, And its lost the fun, burn out.Its a hell of alot of work, And everyone bitching.I can see how someone could lose the love of coin collecting.
But it not fair or right just to walk away. Thats the problem,
yours daryl
All teammembers above, still believe everything is okay...
Let them believe!
Mediocracy is not a very painful disease neither is corruption or incompetence..., so you do not have to cure it...

I thought you'd left for Facebook? Yet three days later you're still posting replies to your 'goodbye' thread.
( a swapper from india, who has not had the opportunity to interact with you. but i know you are a genuine numismatist and the departure of people like you would certainly diminish the standards.)
Quote: KartWayHe said in one post above, answering me that he will still participate in forum every now and then, but is done with improving the site.
Yes, thanks Kart, for taking my voice, I am here but no swap, no chat, on this corrupt site, just a bit of cataloguing till it dies on 17th of January. Good to all of you till...
The complete absence of self awareness can be funny to everyone except the poor victim.
I certainly would never feel the need to justify my use of a website to someone who deleted his original profile and created a whole new one with which to return every full moon to remind us that he quit because the Numista community is "odious" and unworthy of his presence. Doesn't even collect coins any more, strange fellow.
As for you my Hunnish friend and brother in arms, would you be so kind as to check my most recent post on the ID Forum. Someone has already kindly confirmed the attribution and even a few links for further research but I'd welcome your opinion of grade and value. Ballpark numbers of course, ballpark photos!
Non illegitimis carborundum est. Excellent advice for all coins.
