Chinese Cash Identification [solved]

5 posts
Hi All,

Found my first "China - Empire" Cash today (yay!)

Never had one in hand before so I'm having a little trouble identifying it:

As far as I can tell, it's a 1 Cash - Qianlong Boo-yuwan

From what I've read they're pretty common, so not going to ask if it's genuine or how much it's worth.
(but is it? and how much?  ;) )

So just asking if I'm right in what I think, and if anyone can shed any light on what type it is, as there appears to be many, I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

I'm not an expert in any kind of coins, but I reckon I'm good at research and will do my best to help. Feel free to tell me my identifications/valuations/gradings are wrong. It's the only way I'll learn.
You'll be able to identify by your self :8D

Fantastic! Very helpful.

Thank you so much for that, very subtle differences in some cases, but I reckon it's a Type D, 22.255

Just the document I was looking for.
Thanks again.

(Any chance those images could be uploaded to the Numisdoc area?)
