No, why? What is wrong?

It is just a normal search, so check your search options.

Just circulating is not enough for search, add non-commemorative or commemorative. I do not know why, but it works this way.

I would say that there is a problem with the latest coin search function. Only marked circulating coins and changed the search criteria from 7 to 365 and still found nothing ...

Search like search. Click also non-commemorative and/or commemorative option.

like Jarcek already said you need at least one additional category: commemorative/ non commemorative

Well at least like that you can search for all kind of combinations, including non-circulating + non-commemoratives.
Just call me Bram

No new swaps for the moment, still too many half-ongoing swaps to clean up!
Sometimes, I have a problem with this only. But at normal times, It works well.
No matter which country I try to search, I keep getting the same message, which is as follows:

No result has been found.
Please try another query.

Please tell me what to do to fix this problem since the entire catalog is no longer accessible from my computer. This problem first occurred a couple of weeks ago and I haven't been able to use the website search function since.
Sounds like you have no coin type selected, see the messages above:

Hello,
I made a change that should prevent this issue in the future.
See here: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic60050.html#p498849
It seems something has gone wrong with the search function again.

I get no results for any searches I enter. Also, clicking on a country name from the list no longer shows all the coins from there.

Any chance it could be caused by this 'fix' that was just added?
But now all of or commemoratives (which were set to non-circulating commemoratives) have been set to "Non-Circulating" instead of "Commemorative".

And yes, there are circulating and non-circulating commemoratives. So which of the three categories do they go in? And, in some cases, there were circulating patterns. Please revert to the old way.

From what I understood, it is clear:

Common coin
Circulating commemorative coin
Non-circulating coin (which are mostly commemorative)
Patterns
Tokens

Commemoratives are fine, slight issue might be with those patterns.

Hello.
Previously, we could divide the tokens on circulating and non-circulating (commemorative). Now we are not going to do it?
Even with the previous behaviour it was not possible to search only commemorative tokens or circulating patterns. You could only search for all tokens or all patterns. This didn't change.

In the coin page, you can still mention whether a coin is commemorative or not. For all categories except common coins, a coin/token/pattern can be commemorative .

Tokens that were used for circulation are in the section of their country. Tokens that are not intended for ciculation are in "Tokens" or "Exonumia".

As for circulating patterns, could you please provide an example?
As nobody seems to have noticed my previous post... is it just me that is now having the problem where every search has no results? Also looking at countries from the country list also shows no results?
By the way, now the page does not show that this "Non circulating coin".

Sorry, open options and please look if you have "Coin type" selected.

Thanks for that Jarcek! I didn't realise I needed to do that just to browse coins from different countries. It has worked and everything seems to be good now.
This search settings saves for you (not by Numista, I guess browser does that), and since search was affected by this change, I guess it got reseted.

Hm, I think that term "Common coin" is somehow wrong. But I don´t know which term would be better as having "Circulating coins", "Circulating commemorative coins", "Non-circulating coins", ... would be rather odd, wouldn´t it ?
The selected type of coin search options get saved from one search to another (including browsing countries). I'm not sure whether this behaviour is still useful, or whether it's just introducing confusion, as other search options are not saved. Do you think it should be kept?
Yes, definitely should be saved.
Of course, keep the saving. It would be crazy without it.
Catalogue administrator
That is why I find new ''words'' Common coins, etc. etc. etc.
Sorry, I found everything.
So? :.
