It's very informative, I don't dispute that, but as far as I can tell it's just an article describing the countermarks on the next few coins in it's currency.

Shouldn't the information in it be put in the comments section of each of those coin pages instead of having a page of it's own?
there are already a few threads about it

I see....

Now the information can just be copied into the (clearly visible) comments section of each coin for which the info is relevant... I think it's time for this "coin" to go.
If I am not mistaken, we agreed to make a basis of Numisdoc out of it and once done, it will be deleted.

That was about 18 months ago.... if I were you I'd copy everything on the page and post it in the comments section of relevant coin pages, then delete it. Not really any need for a specific Numisdoc on 1889 countermarks for Portuguese Mozambique if you ask me.
It's bit really hurting anybody by innocently sitting there though. Why the rush ?
This stamp is a piece of metal directly related to coins, right ?
Like the coin weights, they are numismatic stuff, so why not moving this page to exonumia / token part, like we do for the coin weights ?

After that we can add a link to this stamp on the pages where this countermark appears to encourage people to check this page.
@Cyncos
Because it (the page) is not actually representative of a coin/token/piece of exonumia, like coin weights. All coins that have the countermark already have their own pages. It's just a description of a countermark on coins.

If I wanted to make something describing the different mintmarks on Morgan dollars, it would be more appropriate in the relevant coin(s)' comments section or even as a Numisdoc rather than as a coin page of it's own titled "Morgan Dollar countermarks" in the US catalogue with this as a picture:
Each single counterstamped Mozambique coin should have its own coin page but not the counterstamp itself.
Each of those counterstamped coins should also have a catalogue reference number.

Exactly! :wiz:
Indeed, I just notice the page is not about the stamp itself but about the counterstamp.
I'm agree with you, it shouldn't have a special page.

One month later, and the page is still up......

Can someone go ahead and make that Numisdoc/copy it onto each relevant counterstamped coin's page, so this page can be deleted please.... ?
