UPDATE with details

We have numista member coinsberg.com who is owner of the web site www.coinsberg.com

On that web site there are nice pictures of Ukrainian coins and we have permission to use them here

I didn't consider his website as a source of pictures (because didn't know about it), but recently I got > 100 modification requests from him with nice pictures instead of  small/low quality, for example

VS

VS

VS

But he made requests only for coins which pictures don't require cropping, so I started browsing that site searching for more pictures which we can use, mainly for silver coins in capsules, so asking here for help to make pictures more fancy

Couple of examples for silver coins before vs after

BOINC

I can take the remaining ones. All edited pictures from 11-39 are now uploaded

Can you (ArsenEverlast) in return edit the descriptions? It seems like the vast majority of the CCs you've posted are direct copy 'n pastes from some website.

For example they are overly descriptive as if there wasn't a picture available and also contain lettering and sometimes even translations or explanations which don't belong there.

Yes - cropped, rotated, and cleaned up.

Not sure why someone would make pictures that are not only not

rotated correctly, but also lots of dusts particles on a coin.

This is one of the strange examples where I wonder what was uploaded because the on-site expansion picture has an alpha channel but  the original is a jpeg.

This is one of the strange examples where I wonder what was uploaded because the on-site expansion picture has an alpha channel but  the original is a jpeg.

I believe the original is a png file or more accurately a png file that had the file extension manually changed from png to jpg without actually converting the file.  When you save the file it automatically assigns it a png extension (in Firefox). In Edge it gets a jpg extension when you save it.

Anyway, I used Paint to convert them to jpg and submitted a CR.

Hello! Everything is mixed up here! The photo and description do not correspond to the catalog number of Khodzhaev! If I change the photo, the information will remain half wrong. What to do? In the photo, the token is numbered Hod FR#14 or Hod FR#15.1

Hello,

With all my due respect I tend to disagree with your statement that all is mixed up. I updated all Taxiphone pages myself using Khodzhayev and Groenendijk.

Below the links to Khod FR#14, Khod FR#15.1/2 and Khod FR#10/1.

Can you tell me what's wrong with the pictures, because I would agree to change it for better quality ones, but the design is the good one as far as I know.

The quality of your photos is excellent. It has token number 15.1. And you have written other numbers. Perhaps you have an outdated directory? I have the Khodzhaev Catalog 2016 + three additions to it.
Sincerely!

Please forgive me! But I would also make some changes there. Each token has a specific catalog number. There cannot be 2 numbers for one token.
I have been wanting to publish my collection of tokens for a long time, but I cannot find a site where this can be done. Your site is perfect, but the numbers don't match.

I can send photos from the original catalog, which I myself bought from Viktor Khodzhaev.

The same goes for the pictures of this page N#156563

Ahh

I am sorry

But, I didn't understand what you said

Numista Referee for Coins of Kingdom of Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Republic of Tunisia & Kingdom of Morocco
🇧🇭🇸🇦🇹🇳🇲🇦

I mean what have the pictures (the ones you want to be cropped here) to do with the coin page (LINK) they are on (the coin depicted is neither a 1 santim [the writing looks identical to the dirham], proof or out of gold). They are from a different coin THIS or very similar one, another example with the same issue is on THIS page (the coin on the pictures is neither a proof coin nor out of gold).

I hope this was better, I can't phrase it any clearer.
